Hello bookworms, happy WWW Wednesday!
This book tag is hosted by Taking On a World of Words, its a set of three questions asked of book bloggers weekly to see how their reading is getting on.
What are you currently reading?
I’m still reading The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon and am liking it so far. It seems to be the kind of book that you either click with straight away or if not you end up slogging through the whole book. Glad to say I’ve clicked with it immediately.
Night of the Mannequins by Stephen Graham Jones is the other book I’m reading at the moment. I’m a few chapters which is actually a quarter of the way through the book as its only 113 pages long! The story follows a group of kids who find a mannequin to play with all through a childhood summer, only to leave it abandoned for several years. They rediscover it to use for one final prank… which doesn’t go to plan.
What have you finished reading?
Nothing! I have ended up in the middle of several books but should be done with them all by next week (maybe not Priory, lol).
What will you read next?
My next read will be The Warlock’s Consort by C.L. Rose. I’m taking part in the Instagram book tour for this upcoming release and am currently waiting for my physical ARC to arrive. You can check out my review and stop on the tour on my Instagram!
