What are you currently reading?

Conclave by Robert Harris. Not gonna lie, I was a little disappointed that the real life Papal Conclave barely lasted two days. I wanted to read this while the votes were taking place and Pope Leo XIV was elected before I was 50 pages in. 🙃 Oh well! I’m enjoying the book so far and am surprised how much of the dialogue went into the movie unchanged. (I’m not Christian at all, btw. Just find the history of the Catholic Church very interesting).

What have you finished reading?

I finished reading Summer Camp for Slasher Victims by Matthew Mercer. I’m saving my feelings and review for my Summerween blog series, starting next month!

What will you read next?

My copy of The Devils by Joe Abercrombie arrived last week and I’m so excited to start reading it! I haven’t read an Abercrombie book in a couple years and I miss his writing so much. He’s definitely one of the greatest fantasy authors of our generation.
