Well its almost the middle of Spring. New month, new TBR. I’ve got a lot more free time this month so should have lots of dedicated reading time! I’ve not included it here but I might also add in a few audiobook reads throughout May.
Summer Camp for Slasher Victims by Matthew Mercer

As mentioned in my very first WWW Wednesday post from a couple days ago, I’m currently reading this indie published horror novel, inspired by the slasher movies of the 80s.
The Burial of the Rats by Bram Stoker

This is a short story collection of Bram Stoker’s works, curated by Penguin Archive.
Conclave by Robert Harris

I recently watch Conclave (2024) as my friend Laura just wouldn’t stop talking about it (in a good way). She finished the book last month and strongly recommended it. To be honest after watching the movie last week I’ve been thinking about it loads, especially with the recent passing of Pope Francis and all the news about the next Papel Conclave. I’m not Christian myself but Catholicism has an interesting history and I find it pretty fascinating. The next Conclave starts on May 7th, so I’m planning on reading the book during this time. I think others have had the same idea because I can’t find it in stock anywhere (and I refuse to buy it from Amazon). So we’ll see if I manage to get it or not.
