Horror Book Recommendations Needed! 👻💀🎃

I’m looking for horror book recommendations to build my September/October TBRs. I’ve read a couple classics in the genre and am familiar with Stephen King’s novels.

Main themes/vibes I’m looking for:

  • Slashers
  • Paranormal/Supernatural
  • Monsters, i.e Vampires/Werewolves
  • Atmospheric Horror
  • anything set on/around Halloween

Some of my favourite horror movies include the Scream franchise, Trick R Treat, IT Chapters 1&2.

Mostly looking for adult horror recommendations but will take YA books if you can convince me!

    • Into the Drowning Deep by Mira Grant
    • Our Wives Under the Sea by Julia Armfield
    • Meddling Kids by Edgar Cantero
