Heartstopper is so cute!!

Boy meets boy, the crush begins.

I am very late to the Heartstopper train, I haven’t even watched the show!

I love the simplified art style and that its in black and white. The art communicated the majority of the story and was very impactful in expressing the character’s emotions. The dialogue is minimal and only there when necessary.

Nick is probably my favourite character so far. I’m also bisexual and seeing the earlier stages of Nick struggling to figure out how he was feeling and who he is was very relatable. I wish I’d had a comic like this to read while I was in school, I think it would’ve brought me a lot of comfort.

I’m very excited to continue reading Heartstopper, I think I may buy the rest of them on my Kindle right now! 😅
